Vendor Information

Welcome all vendors, we hope you will join us for the 2012 Kentucky Mountain Laurel Festival. You will find the vendor application at the bottom of this page, please read the following before downloading the application:
 

Rules and Regulations:

  • All vendors, profit or non-profit MUST have a Kentucky Sales Tax Permit must be produced upon arrival.
  • All spaces are 10x10 (a “funeral” tent requires two).
  • Craft vendor booths are set around the courthouse square.  No stock trailers, campers or vehicles are permitted on the courthouse lawn.
  • Please note that there is a little shade and no weather protection.
  • Please note the K.M.L.F. or its staff will NOT be responsible for damaged, lost, or stolen articles or any injuries that may occur.
  • Locations of the designated areas will be first come first serve (NO exceptions).
  • There will be a disclaimer presented for your signature the day of arrival. 
  • Please come prepared with the proper equipment and/or tools to situate your food or craft booth.
  • If your application is rejected for any reason you will be contacted immediately.
  • Any applications that does not list an accurate inventory of booth contents or menu items will not be permitted to sell those items not listed.
  • We accept a check or money order for your booth rental which includes your entire stay.
  • Please return your application and payment to the address listed under “contact info.”

Set-up and disassemble:

  • Food vendors- when you arrive please check in at the information booth at the courthouse square, check-in time is on Wednesday May 23, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.  No one will be permitted to set-up after 8:00 p.m. (NO exceptions).
  • Exhibitors- when you arrive please check in at the information booth at the courthouse square.  Check-in time is on Thursday May 24, 2012 at 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.  No one will be permitted to set-up after 12:00 p.m. (NO exceptions).

 Hours:

  • On Thursday May 24, 2012 2:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
  • On Friday May 25, 2012 10:00 a.m. until 8:30 p.m.
  • On Saturday May 26, 2012 9:00 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. (if you lodging outside of Pineville, Kentucky on Friday night, you will need to return to your booth before 9:00 a.m. on Saturday morning because the town is blocked off for the parade). 
  • On Sunday May 27, 2012 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. (this is a new event for this year which will be optional per exhibitor).

WE ASK THAT ALL EXHIBITORS AND FOOD VENDORS REMAIN UP AND OPERATIONAL THRU CLOSING TIMES LISTED.  HOWEVER, IF YOU CHOOSE TO STAY OPEN LATER THAN TIMES LISTED, FEEL FREE TO DO SO.

Bio:
We are excited to introduce a new tradition this year.  We ask that all vendors send in a short bio with a photograph describing your business.  We will feature you in the local newspaper per payment arrival. 

Pricing:
Due to the economy prices have been lowered;

Food vendors - $70.00 per 10 x 10 space
Non-profit - $60.00 per 10 x 10 space

Craft vendors - $50.00 per 10 x 10 space
Non-profit - $40.00 per 10 x 10 space

Business vendors (only advertising, CANNOT SELL)- $40.00

Electrical fees are $20.00 for 110 volt and $40.00 for 220 volt.

Registration:
Early registration-if you application and money is received by April 5, 2012 you will receive $5.00 off your booth price.

Registration-application and money is due no later than May 5, 2012.

Late registration-if your application and money is received after May 5, 2012 there will be a $10.00 fee added to the price of your booth.
